So yeah, Michelle brought it to my attention again that it's been like forever and a year and half since I've written on here. Sorry everyone who was trying to keep up on my very uninteresting life. I'm a horrible writer. But here I am! YAY for blogs! So lets see...first and most importantly, Naomi is 10 months old today!!! YAY!!! Where on earth has the time gone. She went to the doctor last month and she was 21 lbs 7.6 oz and 28 in. long. Her second tooth just broke through her gums and is popping out a little, right next to her other one. So she's got the two bottom ones. She is so close to walking. If she's holding on to mommy or daddy's fingers she'll go running everywhere. And she absolutely loves "splash splash" time. (Bath time) As soon as we ask her if she wants to go splash splash she'll get a huge grin, drop to the floor and go crawling in to the bathroom as fast as possible. Then she'll continue banging on the sides of the bathtub until it's full and ready for her to get in. In fact the other day she was trying to reach in to the water and almost went in head first. :D I love my little girl. It's so fun to watch her grow up and learn new things. I just can't believe how fast she is growing. Oh and about 2 weeks ago she got a new big girl carseat! It's a Britax so it will hold her until she's 65lbs...so at the rate she's going that will be about a year. ;-) Here are 2 pictures of her with each of us. They were taken about 2 weeks ago even though the date says they were taken in 2005.

Lets see...Ed is doing well at work. He's in the process of learning hot stone and in just a few more weeks he'll be certified. YAY! He absolutely loves being a massage therapist and I love it too! Oh and he got his own massage chair, so now he's got both a table and chair. So if any of you reading this would like a massage sometime, lemme know and I'll send him your way.
I'm doing ok too. I get a little worn out by weeks end with the schedule Ed and I are doing. But overall I'm doing good. I got a promotion at work so now I am the head RNA (Restorative Nurses Aide). Before I was just a CNA. So now instead of getting residents up and dressed and dealing with the messy briefs, I get to run the dining room and then go do physical therapy with different residents that are on the RNA program. It is a lot less physically straining and although it is stressful it is a different stress that isn't as draining on me. So amazingly enough I usually can get through the day without a nap. Woot! Anyway, I'm really enjoying it.
Other than that, not much is new. Ed and I are primary teachers to the 8 and 9 year olds. That is fun! A handful between them and Naomi, but it is so rewarding. And that's about it on our end. We are looking forward to going and visiting my parents in Colorado Springs at the end of this month. It will be a quick trip, but a good break for us. And my parents can't be more excited to see their "princess" (Naomi).
Sorry Michelle, none of this is new news to you, but as you would say:
~Peace out~
