All I have to say is Wow! Today was the most amazing experience of my life. Maybe with the exception of Naomi's birth. But it certainly was the most spiritual one. I don't have one regret about going. And I don't think it still has sunk in completely that we are now an eternal family. It was amazing kneeling across the alter from Ed and becoming sealed for time and all eternity. Wow! And then they brought Naomi in all dressed in white. I was speechless. She was SO precious! I just started bawling. Just like I am now. I can't thank my Father in Heaven enough for my beautiful family and the wonderful opportunity I have to be with them forever. I love them with all my heart! They are the best gift I've ever been given. I can't wait to go back with Ed again.
Amazing. . .just absolutely amazing!
Thank you so much to everyone that came! It made it that much more special. I'll get some pics up soon!

Power of Song
So I was sitting here on the couch last night trying to calm Naomi down. She's been fussy since I she got her shots on Tuesday. Anyway, so she wouldn't calm down no matter what I did...until I sang. I started singing some simple Primary songs and she just quieted up and listened intently the whole time. It was beautiful. It's amazing what spirit entered the room. Especially when I sang "Families Can Be Together Forever." It's probably since what's coming up in a few hours tomorrow but still. I just started crying and choked up as I tried to sing it to her.
So anyway, I encourage you all to try it if you haven't. It doesn't matter if you don't have a beautiful singing voice. I sure don't. But I think your little one will love it. Well I'm off for the night. I've got an exciting day tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Easily Amused
So I was sitting here tonight playing this funny little game my daughter likes and I was thinking how interesting it is that babies are amused so easily. Like tonight, my daughter and I were sitting on the couch and I sat her on the edge between my legs and then was humming as I bounced my feet back and forth in no particular pattern, and she LOVED it. She was laughing so hard she actually started choking on spit. It amused her for a good 10-15 min easily. Another funny thing she likes is the new Qwest commercial. Man that thing comes on and its like there is nothing else around. In an instant she stops whatever she is doing and whips her head around to watch that commercial. She's even been practically asleep and will do it and then as soon as the commercial is over then its back to sleeping as normal.
Anyway, I dunno why I decided to ramble about these things. They were just on my mind and I thought that they were not only cute but pretty random. I guess that's a baby for you. And I sure love mine!

This week's Highlights
Maybe I've spoken too soon since it's only Saturday MORNING. But I think it has been a good week so far. Work went wonderfully, I saw my baby crawl, and we got a special gift on our doorstep Thursday afternoon. I got home and there was a yellow padded envelope addressed to us from the First Presidency. President Utchdorf wrote us a letter apologizing for his schedule being switched and that we weren't able to reschedule with him for our sealing. And he also sent us a copy of his book 'Sister Eternal' with a special message written in the front cover for us. He didn't have to send it or even send the letter but he did. What a special man! It totally made our day and even though we already love him it solidified even more so that he will always have a special place in our hearts.
So yeah, those were our highlights for the week. :D
Well I'm off. Today Ed is down in Provo playing Warhammer so Naomi and I are going to go get all our clothing so were ready for our special day in 2 weeks. More later.

She Crawled!
My baby crawled!!!
OK... so I wasn't there to witness it so I have to go off the good word of my husband BUT supposedly Naomi crawled a step for her first time today. YAY!!! She's been so close to doing it. I'm kinda sad I missed it but I'm so happy she did it. I can't believe how old she's gotten. She just hit her 6 month mark yesterday. My word how the time flies.

TGIF
YAY for Fridays! Oh how I love Fridays. My tired aching body loves them as well. Today was a pretty good day. Yesterday was good too. I'm glad I'm feeling a bit better about life. Anyway... I really don't have much to gab about other than YAY it Friday!
Oh and for all of you that I interact with...I have a goal to get healthy, and I want your help. I keep using the excuse that I'm tired or Naomi won't let me workout but after stepping on the scale last night and realizing that I'm back to what I was when Naomi first came out, no more!It was scary stuff. So I've decided to start eating more responsibly not just emotional eating, and also to get at least a 30 min workout 4-6 times a week. I really want to get back down to 185 by years end. So where do you come in you might ask? I would just like the casual support and encouragement. When you see me, check up on me and make sure I'm sticking to my plan.
Thanks!

And another one down...
Why is it that every time a day starts out good something crappy has to happen. I actually got put on the Long Term section of work today which is good. It's first time in almost 2 weeks. So it was a really good day. Everything going well and all. And then all of the sudden I got a message from my husband saying that President Utchdorf's office called and said he wont be able to seal us after all. That totally ruined the day. I was so excited to meet him and have him seal us and then there goes that. I know it will be a good day anyway no matter who does it but still. What a mood wrecker.
I know I have no room to complain. I have it way better than others but honestly I truely hate my life right now. I just want one good thing to happen for once.
